B.O.Y Music Unveils Ofego’s Dedicated Streaming App, Website Ahead of New Album Release
B.O.Y Music, the record label behind award-winning West African artiste and 2024 Songwriter of the Year, Ofego, has officially launched a new music streaming app and website dedicated to the singer’s catalogue.
The platform Ofegosongs.com which allows fans to stream, buy and download Ofego’s songs and upcoming projects, was developed through a fusion of artificial intelligence and human expertise. The website and app went live a few days ago, marking what the label described as a major step in expanding the artiste’s global digital presence.
The new platform features all Ofego’s songs and albums released from 2021 to date, giving fans worldwide seamless access to his music. In addition, B.O.Y Music has partnered with PayPal to make Ofego’s upcoming album 1 Man MP available for offline streaming in locations with poor internet connectivity.
The highly anticipated 1 Man MP album, scheduled for release on January 13, will debut exclusively on the new app and website before being distributed to other streaming platforms. According to the label, this rollout strategy is designed to give core fans first access through Ofego’s owned digital channels.
Speaking on the need for a personalised streaming service for the artiste, B.O.Y Music said the timing was intentional. “This is the right moment to build a central digital home for everything Ofego. His listeners deserve direct, uninterrupted access to his music,” the label stated.
